If any of us wants to introduce himself, tell his story, or communicate with others, language is the first tool for this, and it is the main symbol of identity and the most important expression of the self.
And with the challenges that Arab youth face today, and their distance from their mother tongue, they face a crisis of identity and belonging that distances them from their values and morals.
After the monitoring and analyzes carried out by the Arab Youth Center, the urgent necessity emerged to launch initiatives and projects that reconnect Arab youth with their language, revive their pride in practicing it, and thus strengthen their Arab affiliation and adherence to their original identity.
In response to this, the "Arab Youth Center", in cooperation with “Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center”, “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation” and “Zai Centre for Arabic language research” at Zayed University, launched the "Arabic Language Youth Council", which represents a serious systematic attempt to establish the correct image of the Arabic language among young people in the fields of work, science, education, and society; and to establish a foundation and approach that supports Arab youth’s adherence to their language and guides them to be representatives of the Arab identity in various parts of the world and various areas of life.
Facilitating ways for Arab youth to interact freely and fruitfully through their language, so that they can receive modern developments in the fields of science, thought, knowledge, and various types of creativity.
Making the Arabic language the primary tool for expression and communication among young people.
Reviving the relationship between Emirati and Arab youth in the Arabic language and its audio-visual identity, and enabling them to lead effective initiatives that raise youth awareness of their Arab identity and the inherent values it contains.
Promoting the use of the correct Arabic language among youth, whether by publishing linguistically correct digital content, or supporting projects specialized in Arabic language affairs in the fields of education, and artificial intelligence, and modern linguistic dictionaries, in cooperation with specialized linguistic bodies such as linguistic academies and centers.
Supporting the presence of young people with their ideas, proposals, and Arabic language in local and international governmental, environmental, and cultural conferences and forums.
Providing linguistically approved studies and research in various cultural and linguistic fields, in cooperation between council members and language specialists.
Establishing a foundation and approach that supports Arab youth’s adherence to their language and guides them to be representatives of the Arab identity in various parts of the world and various areas of life.
Palestine
Arabic content creator; who wrote the linguistic content for the “Arab Reading Challenge” for three consecutive seasons. He presented “Poetry Stories” program in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre. He prepared a collection of video clips for the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, and the UAE Government Media Office. He is the author of the first Arabic educational book on the Kufic Mushaf script, published in 2021.
Algeria
Debater in Arabic; She chaired the Algerian Youth Parliament Committee, the only Arabic-speaking committee, in the Model United Nations Algeria program in 2022. She participated in refereeing several national and regional debate championships in Arabic language. She won the award for the best Arabic language debate team for the year 2020 in the National Debating Championship organized by the British Council.
United Arab Emirates
Specialized in high-energy lasers, and senior researcher at the Technological Innovation Institute. An Emirati thinker was classified, in 2023 within the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research’s “Emirates Thinkers” platform. She is a member of Toastmasters Arabic Public Speaking, through which she won the Best Speech Award several times in a row.
Syria
Journalist and presenter; was chosen as an ambassador for the World Congress of Media in its first and second editions, and also chosen as an audio commentator on the first videos of the Museum of the Future, by the Media Office of the Government of Dubai. He provides digital content in native Arabic language, on social media, where he achieved more than a billion views on his platforms, by providing to the audience translated reliable scientific information, stories, anecdotes, and lessons in simplified language.
Saudi Arabia
Writer; who published “Paths of Reading,” “Paths of Writing,” and “Boat’s Brothers.” Host of the “Café Podcast,” in which he meets writers and translators from the Arab world. Founder of the “Writing Community” to support local writers through his various initiatives.
Syria
Architect and Translator; who translated into Arabic in philosophy of science “Infinity and the Mind: The Science and Philosophy of Infinity”; In astrophysics “Death By a black hole and other cosmic quandaries”; In linguistics “Atoms of Language”; In ecology and climate change “Extreme Cities”.
Oman
Arabic teacher; who participated in the “I Can Read with My Hand” initiative to enable students with visual impairment to read Arabic books, by converting them to a digital version in Braille. She works on several projects aimed at delivering the written Arabic heritage to people of determination.
United Arab Emirates
Engineer and manga author; She wrote the series “The Heart of Touqar - THT,,” the first of its kind in the Emirates. She is the author of the series of fantasy novels, “NAZEEF.”

Arabic calligrapher; Specialized in Diwani script, Thuluth script, Kufic Mushafi script, and Sunbali script. She participated in the Sharjah Arabic Calligraphy Forum and the Miraj International Exhibition in Bangalore. She launched her own project, “Abdi Arabic Calligraphy.”

Professor in Arabic language; He is called “the guardian of the Arabic language”. He contributed to the training programs for Arabic language teachers in government schools organized by the Ministry of Education in the Indian state of Kerala. He won the “Many Languages, One World” international essay writing competition (Arabic language category), which was organized by the United Nations Academic Impact Authority, and as a result he received the opportunity to deliver a speech in Arabic on the General Assembly platform at the United Nations headquarters in New York in 2017.
